So here's kitteh #3, the most complicated kitteh yet. I'm not crazy about this one, but making it taught me some new approaches. I started with a much rounder head this time, and set the ears in a little bit.

Bix kept running off with the unfinished cat head- I guess he thought I was making him a chew toy.

My first big mistakes: I embroidered the muzzle and the eyes
after I'd constructed the head. Bad idea. There was so much thread on the eyes that they didn't lie flat, and the eye shape just looked odd on the rounder face. I ended up using buttons instead. The muzzle looked really bottom heavy after I attached it; in profile it made the kitteh look like it had a mean underbite.

Kitteh's neck was a little too long.

I cribbed the shape of the body from
Runo's adorable terry cloth cats. Because I'm an idiot I added feet, an entirely unnecessary addition.

Done and done!
